Wedding Consultations
Your wedding breakfast deserves a focal point – a splendid cake. So it must be planned in every detail. You can use this plan to ensure that your cake will take pride of place. At a consultation we can fully discuss all your requirements together with cake samples in relaxed surroundings.

When do you hold consultations?
We hold consultations every month, excluding June-August. The slots get filled very quickly so please get in touch early. The next available dates are:
Saturday 15th February (fully booked)
Saturday 14th March (fully booked)
Saturday 11th April (fully booked)
Sunday 10th May
If you're not able to come along to one of the consultation dates or they are fully booked, there is the option of collecting some samples from our home bakery in Canterbury.
When should I book a consultation?
If you’re marrying in peak wedding season (May-September) it’s best to get in touch at least twelve months before your wedding date, sometimes earlier. Outside of peak wedding season six to nine months ahead is usually sufficient. We can sometimes accommodate shorter notice weddings so please get in touch. We only take on a limited amount of weddings each week to be able to dedicate our time to each individual wedding.
We've set a date but not finalised the venue, could we book a consultation?
We can only arrange a consultation once we’re sure of our availability for your wedding date. Until your venue is booked your date could be subject to change depending on the availability of the venue you ultimately choose. It’s best, therefore, to book a consultation with us once you’ve booked your venue.

Can I bring along family and friends?
Consultations are usually just for the bride and groom, or 2 people. We can sometimes accommodate one or two extra people but please let us know beforehand (the tasting samples would only be made for 2 people).
Do I need to pay a deposit before or after coming for a consultation?
You can either secure your wedding date with a £100 deposit before a consultation. Or if you prefer to come along for a chat and tasting before making the commitment this can be paid after meeting. Please do bear in mind though that booking a consultation doesn't automatically reserve your wedding date.
Do you charge for consultations?
There is no charge for the consultation but the samples are limited to 4 flavours and for 2 people (usually the bride and groom). If you would like to try any additional flavours these are charged at £5 per flavour per couple (payable by bank transfer before the consultation).
