We will work closely with you from the moment you first get in touch right up to your wedding day to ensure your cake surpasses your expectations.
The personal service we offer means that we can only take on a limited number of orders each week. We, therefore, strongly recommend booking your wedding cake at least 12-18 months prior to your wedding date. If your wedding is sooner, please do still get in touch as we are sometimes able to take orders at shorter notice, especially if it's out of the busy summer season.
When you first get in touch, let us know the date of your wedding, venue and guest numbers. Once we've checked whether we are free on your date we can give you a quote if you have a design in mind already.
A £100 non-refundable deposit secures your wedding date in the diary. If you would like to try some samples this can be done either before or after paying a deposit.
Should you have any questions before you’ve secured your date we are more than happy to chat over the phone or via email.
The remaining balance for your cake is payable a month before your wedding. Prior to this we will be in touch with you to finalise all the cake details. If your design is complex we can arrange a face-to-face video consultation at a mutually convenient time. For more straight-forward designs (such as semi-naked cakes) discussion by email or phone is usually sufficient.
If you're having fresh flowers on your cake we usually get in touch with your florist a couple of weeks before your wedding to confirm any arrangments.
Every cake we make is bespoke and tailored to each couple, therefore prices will vary depending on the number of tiers, sizes, finish and level of decoration. Below are some 2024 starting prices for different types of cakes (please get in touch for 2025 prices). Decorations, such as handmade sugar flowers, foliage and large floral cascades will increase these prices as well as more intricate details like piping. Please get in touch for an accurate quote.
