Together we’ll design your cake exactly the way you want it, from the delicious inside to the amazing outside. We will work closely with you from the moment you first get in touch right up to your wedding day to ensure your cake surpasses your expectations.

The Process

The personal service we offer means that we can only take on a limited number of orders each week. We, therefore, strongly recommend booking your wedding cake at least 12 months prior to your wedding date. If your wedding is sooner, please do still get in touch as we are sometimes able to take orders at shorter notice, especially if it's out of the busy summer season.

After an initial chat about your guest numbers and design details, we can provide you with a price guide and if you would like to proceed, we request a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. An enquiry alone does not book your date.


 If you’ve opted for a fruit cake or a design that includes sugar flowers, we will have everything well under way in advance of your wedding. But sponge cakes are always baked fresh just a couple of days beforehand (or the day before if it's a naked or semi-naked cake) so they’re utterly delicious for your big day. All we require from you is your remaining balance 1 month prior to your wedding and if you have any changes to your cake we will need this confirmed and finalised at this stage. If you're having fresh flowers on your cake we usually get in touch with your florist a couple of weeks before your wedding to make any final arrangements.


When the day arrives, Greta will personally deliver and set-up your cake so that you can sit back, relax, and look forward to seeing (and tasting!) your edible work of art. Occasionally it may be possible to collect your wedding cake, but this does depend on the decoration and size. The cakes are fragile and usually stacked and decorated at the venue. We cannot be held responsible for cakes once they have left our possession so we do advise that we personally deliver and set-up your cake to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. If you've hired a cake stand from us this will need to be returned within 3 days of your wedding and the deposit will be refunded back to you. Prices and Portion Sizes

Every cake we make is bespoke and tailored to each couple, therefore prices will vary depending on the number of tiers, sizes, finish and level of decoration. Below are some baseline minimum costs (2022 prices) for different types of cakes. Decorations, such as handmade sugar flowers, foliage and large floral cascades will increase these prices as well as more intricate details like piping. Please get in touch for an accurate quote.
